About Garden County Distillery
Garden County Distillery is a new distillery under construction in Rathnew, Co
Wicklow.
Set up by father and son duo, Michael and Gavin Clifford, the pair have
been distilling craft Irish gin since 2016. When they set out, whiskey was always the
end goal and as such they have been bonding whiskey casks since the beginning.
With the whiskey stocks coming of quality and the new distillery to be finished this
year, they have prepared some small releases to help map out their journey ahead.
The new distillery will focus on Pot Still and Malt whiskey with a discerning eye on
their wood program and sustainability.
